some personal thoughts

abstraction of the body

body is no longer the body but also the space in between

physical and non-physical are both energy

the cathedral that is this body

yet the body is just a vessel

the fear of confinement vs the joy of freedom

there is no such thing as a perfect/imperfect body

i am trying to translate

the expansive feeling

like being in love

a slow motion explosion to my core

the expansive feeling goes beyond my body

this feeling feels like home

home in my body

home in the world

home in the universe

home in all-that-is

the connection is always available

self-portrait installation

80 photographs measuring 50/50 cm

each containing a macro close-up of body

putting pictures far from one another to create expansion

either presenting them on a wall of an empty room

suspended from ceiling as if floating in the air

preferably a room with high ceiling and big window-parts

study drawings on photography installation

followed by study photographs

The following photographs are a try-out. Not the end result. I'm looking for a macro lens and better lighting to get a sharper outcome. The colour modification wil be similar. So the plan is to redo the whole photoshoot with professional materials. So when each photo is printed in actual size, probably around 50/50cm, resolution is till sharp.
